Client Connect telephone support service (formerly Sightline)
Our revised service has been designed to support blind and partially sighted people through and beyond the current difficulties due to Coronavirus.
Support is offered to all clients who wish to benefit from a regular or occasional call by a volunteer.
We also offer support to those who are newly registered, isolated or still coming to terms with the impact and practicalities of their sight loss. Vision-impaired volunteers and their clients are linked by telephone in their own homes. These befrienders are registered volunteers who can provide emotional support, enable social contact, and pass on valuable hints and information.
